Thanks to its open fiber structure, mineral wool can store a lot of air and is an excellent insulator. The lambda value of this type of insulation ranges from 0.03 W/mK to 0.04 W/mK. Glass wool and rock wool are not susceptible to thermal aging. This means that the product retains the same insulating ability throughout the life of the building.
Mineral wool insulation does not shrink or expand. The joints between the materials remain as closed as possible and thermal bridges are reduced to a minimum.
