Knauf Uniflott is a special gypsum-based, plastic-modified, powdery putty material that is tailored to its areas of application with additives.

The filling of gypsum board joints has several functions:
1. A gypsum board wall only achieves its final stability through correct filling,
2. The airtight closure ensures optimal sound insulation,
3. Airtight joints also prevent component damage that could otherwise result from the ingress of humidity.
Therefore, a high-quality and easy-to-use joint filler is very important.
Many fillers require the use of joint tape to reinforce the joints, which requires more time and effort.
Knauf Uniflott 5 kg is a plastic-modified special gypsum in professional quality, with which you can fill gypsum boards with half-round edges (abbreviation HRK) and half-round flattened edges (HRAK) quickly and easily - without having to work in additional joint tape.
Knauf Uniflott 5 kg convinces with many positive properties:

Knauf Uniflott 5 kg is a strong partner in the Uniflott system:
- For basic filling, use Knauf Uniflott to fill the gypsum board joints, for final filling, use Knauf Uniflott Finish to ensure a smooth surface.
You can use the filler on walls and ceilings indoors.
You need approx. 110 g Knauf Uniflott for boards with HRK edges or approx. 210 g for boards with HRAK edges per running meter of joint.

The room and substrate temperature must not fall below +10 °C. When filling edges in stressed areas and in areas that are exposed to movement, a joint tape must be worked in to avoid subsequent crack formation, mix only as much Knauf Uniflott as inside of 45 minutes can be processed.
Knauf Uniflott that has already set must not be mixed with water or Knauf Uniflott powder, Knauf Uniflott cannot be used outdoors, Knauf Uniflott impregnated is recommended for damp rooms
