Fugenfüller Leicht is a gypsum filler for:
Filling by hand with reinforcement strips, with plasterboard with HRAK (half-round beveled edge), HRK (half-rounded edge), AFK (bevelled bevel edge) and AK (beveled edge)
Attaching gypsum plasterboard and gypsum plasterboard composite panels using the thin-bed method
Filling voids in plasterboard
Gluing and smoothing over gypsum blocks
Gluing stucco profiles

Mix the special gypsum: Scatter Knauf Fugenfüller lightly into clean, cold water to just below the water line. Use a maximum of 2.5 kg of plaster per approx. 1.9 l of water. Then stir the mass with a spatula to a creamy, stiff and lump-free consistency.
Now you can start filling: fill the joints with the filling material, then insert the joint tape and press in with a spatula. Please don't forget to also fill the screw heads. Wait for the first layer of putty to dry and then apply the second.
You can remove small bumps immediately after setting. When the grout is completely dry, you can sand it down with a hand or stick sander. In this way you create an even surface on which other coatings such as wallpaper or decorative plaster can adhere better.
