Ready-to-use filling and fine filler light
Fill & Finish Light is a plastic-bound pasty filler material that contains a combination of finely divided calcium carbonate fillers and extenders tailored to its application.

Scope of application:
Fill & Finish Light is a ready-to-use, air-drying all-purpose filler for interior use:
For joint filling of gypsum boards with AK longitudinal edges in quality levels Q1 and Q2 (in conjunction with joint tape, preferably Knauf Kurt) and for joint finishing of gypsum boards with HRAK gypsum edges
For smoothing numerous substrates such as plaster, concrete/aerated concrete, plane stone masonry
As a fine adjustment on gypsum board joints that are largely filled to achieve surface quality Q2
For full-surface filling of plasterboard surfaces to achieve surface qualities Q3 and Q4
Processing:
The material should be stirred well. Knauf Fill & Finish Light can be adjusted thinner with a maximum of 1 liter of water per 20 kg bucket (e.g. for spraying with a suitable airless pump). The lightweight filler can be applied and processed with a Swiss trowel, smoothing trowel, screw-grip spatula or surface spatula. When applying with a roller, use a long-pile roller that can be easily dipped into the bucket.
The joints are to be filled with the filler, preferably insert Knauf Joint Tape Kurt and press in with the spatula. Before applying the next layer of filler, the previous one must be hardened or dry. Fasteners are also to be filled.
The material hardens through drying, depending on humidity and ambient temperature.
The material, substrate and air temperature must not fall below +10 °C during processing and until it is completely dry.
Substrate preparation:
Knauf Fill & Finish Light is suitable for covering highly absorbent substrates (e.g. concrete, aerated concrete or block), absorbent substrates (e.g. textured plaster, gypsum and gypsum fiber boards), weakly absorbent substrates (e.g. dispersion paints, glass fabric wallpaper) and non-absorbent substrates (e.g. latex paints, tiles).
The substrate must be dry, stable, firm, level and clean. Existing release agents, e.g. B. Paste or waste must be removed.
Gypsum boards must be firmly mounted on a load-bearing substructure, dry, clean and free of dust in the joint area. Larger gaps should be filled with Knauf Trias or Knauf Uniflott.
Pre-filled joint areas must be completely dry and well adjusted to the panel surface. When using Fill & Finish Light on non-absorbent substrates (e.g. latex paints, tiles), test fillings must be carried out to check adhesion. If necessary, the tiles must be primed with Knauf Spezialhaftgrund.
Hints:
Knauf Fill & Finish Light must not be mixed with other materials. Devices and tools must be cleaned with water immediately after use.
In the case of roller application, a long-pile roller should be used that can easily be dipped into the bucket.
