Light gypsum plaster dry mortar
Goldband is a gypsum-based ready-to-use plaster with special lightweight additives as an interior plaster for single-layer manual processing on all rough plaster bases and combed or hardened solid base plasters.
Can be used in all rooms with normal humidity, including domestic damp rooms such as kitchens and bathrooms.
scope of application
Knauf Goldband is used to produce smooth, freely structured or peeled surfaces on interior walls. As a single-layer plaster for all types of masonry and load-bearing plaster substrates.
- From the basement to the roof for all rooms with normal humidity including kitchens and bathrooms with normal household use (e.g. toilets in schools and bathrooms in hotels, hospitals, old people's and nursing homes)
- For the production of surfaces in the quality levels "Q1 - Q4 smoothed"* and "Q1 - Q3 stripped"*. "Q4 smoothed"* in connection with Knauf Multifinish or Readygips (*Instruction sheet "Interior plaster surfaces", published by the industrial group for building plaster in the Federal Association of the Gypsum Industry eV and the Federal Association for Finishing and Facades in the Central Association of the German Building Industry)
- As a substrate for subsequent coats of paint or wallpaper
- As a tile base
